Light up Gaza - Soothe Her

A day for activists and their families to come together to relax, dance, chill, paint, sing, listen and eat delicious food together. We have been and will continue to make our voices heard, be seen and challenge the establishment which is upholding the right to give full impunity for the destruction of Palestine and her people, an it seems way beyond.

You are invited, with your children for this day on 2nd November to have a day to experience and take home a bit of Palestine you may not have had before.

If this event goes well it will be repeated every few months to share with our sisters and brothers some 'simple' time together

The schedule for the day will be:

2.00pm Dabke dance tuition - there will be prizes for the best dancers
3.15pm Arts and crafts - decorate items with symbol of Palestine
4.00pm Storytelling & recitals & poetry
5.00 pm Rapper - laughing is a must
6.00pm Dinner
6.30pm DJ - you are invited to make your choice of songs related to Palestine/Liberation known before the event and it will be added to a playlist.
