BenBen + Lily is a wildly symbiotic bond between two New York based songwriters who regard each other as musical siblings and partners in magic. Their debut EP 'White Elephant,' which has garnered 60,000 streams, is a powerful emblem of their commitment to using art to demolish fear and transmute anxiety into euphoria.

Lily Desmond is a violin sorceress whose writing can be dark and primeval, but always laden with gorgeous, ornate vocals. Her violin playing appears on the soundtrack for the new A24 film I Saw the TV Glow starring Brigette Lundy-Paine. BenBen is an animation director, as well as a storied singer, songwriter and studio producer. He has worked in the studio with artists as illustrious as the Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile, and Samantha Crain. An exotic leaf blowing on a weird autumn wind, Ben's high-tenor voice and mastery of harmonies sounds like an uncanny hybrid of Elliot Smith and Freddy Mercury. Together, BenBen + Lily make music that is infectiously melodic and intimately magical.

BenBen adores + frequently visits Lambertville, as the duo are signed to beloved label Perpetual Doom, based in New Hope. He and Lily are thrilled to make their Lambertville debut at the Birdhouse Center for the Arts, shortly after a two weeklong West Coast tour and monthlong tour of Europe. Fittingly, the duo will debut work from their new album Odd Birds at this show.

BenBen has been all over the indie rock landscape... craft[ing] deluxe, swirling indie odes that mine Beatles-y textures, songs dense with instrumentation and unconventional percussion. - Stereogum

"BenBen crafts music for sensitive souls seeking an otherworldly indie rock wonderland to get lost in, and dont we all need that sometimes?" - Third Eye Psych Rock

"BenBen and Lily Desmond guide listeners through a kaleidoscope of sonic hues. Picture a blend of Soundgardens energy, Radioheads inventiveness, and Michael Jacksons emotional honesty, and youll grasp this unique sound."
