Amy Meyers
Multi instrumentalist, Amy Meyers has entertained audiences in the Bay Area since 1991 with her seasoned piano chops that hint of Elton John and her solid percussive and rhythmic acoustic guitar playing. She has released 7 CDs of which her latest, Lucky, charted in the top 20 on Folk Radio in 2008 with the single, Summertown reaching #4. Amy is a dynamic performer - both playfully energetic and draw-you-in sincere. With her infectious melodies and straight from the heart lyrics, her songs will have you singing, dancing, crying, or laughing.
DonnaLynn
DonnaLynn is a Portland‐;based duo consisting of singer‐;songwriter Donna Lynn Davis and her husband Terry. Their music has been described as folk with country charm. Their 2007 CD HeavenTown has received a lot of praise in the contemporary folk community. DonnaLynns voice is often compared to that of Emmy Lou Harris. DonnaLynn hosts Portlands River Ridge House Concerts.
Alex Walsh
Award-winning songwriter Alex Walsh hones his American roots, rock and pop sound on his latest CD, the buddhist inspired "This Is What I Heard". Long a figure on the Bay Area music scene, Walsh has locally performing solo and with the bands; Q, The Honeysticks, The Young Blue Bucks, The Apparitions, and The Chocolate Blockhead Band. Having toured Canada, Paris and Barcelona, he performed at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. for the "Million Worker March" and garnered a best-song award at a West Coast Songwriters showcase.
Esther Golton
Esther Golton is a clear-voiced Alaskan singer-songwriter who accompanies herself with a mountain dulcimer. She plays it in her own individualistic, non-traditional way. Goltons music has such a rich vibe about it, the kind of sound that sends chills down your spine, because it is like youve discovered a secret that the rest of the world will soon find out about. Esther is a co-founder of Whole Wheat Radio, internet radio for independent songwriters.
Jay Howlett
Jay Howlett is an award winning singer/songwriter from the San Francisco area. His credits include Song of the Year from the West Coast Songwriters Association and from the Northern California Songwriters Association, as well as being a finalist in many other songwriting contests (Sisters, Kerrville and others). His songs will both touch your heart and make you laugh, and he plays and sings them beautifully. Jay is founder of Blah Blah Woof Woof Songwriter Co-op.
