Brooklyn Silent Film Fest 2024
Weeeeeeee're Baaaaaaaaack!!!
On November 15, 2024 the second installment of the Brooklyn Silent Film Festival comes to Greenpoint's 100 Sutton Event space. It's the most punk rock festival you'll ever attend!
Our one-night film festival pairs 8 NEW SHORT SILENT FILMS with 8 up-and-coming musicians/bands/composers who compose original scores that are performed live alongside the screenings on the night of the festival. It's really fun. After the run of films (about 2 hours) there are 2 bands doing sets and then DJ Uncle I closes the night.

Our Film and Music Festival is a one night celebration of film and music. In the festival we feature 8 *New* short silent films paired with some of NYC's best up and coming musical talent across all genres of music.
Our eight films were hand selected from hundreds of entries and are exceptional examples of the zeitgeist of silent film today. The filmmakers hail from all over the globe from NY to LA to Russia and Iran!
Our panel of industry judges will rate each pair and after the screening we will toast and celebrate the best film and score pairing.
After the screenings there will be live performances from two of the composing bands and then Greenpoint's DJ Uncle I will hold down the dance party til the wee hours.
