35 Years Taller - Karl Berger Improvisor's Orchestra
Jazz great Karl Berger returns to El Taller, where he will explore world music along with his Improvisational Orchestra of 20+ professional string, horn, and percussion soloists. Using his "Music Mind" concept, Karl will conduct this extraordinary group of improvising cohorts as they explore original and spontaneous themes, melodies from the worldʼs folk traditions and compositions written by such legendary improvisers as Don Cherry, Ornette Coleman, and the trademarks vocalization and poetry of Ingrid Sertso.
