Aerial Harmony with Bootleg Sunshine and Amy Erickson
Pounding Spanish guitar accompanies a daredevil aerialist spinning audacious love stories. They come from snowy mountains peaks and steamy island jungles, with pastoral vocal melodies floating atop deep Afro-Cuban beats. This pairing is playful and perilous. Bootleg Sunshine's music flows from nuevo-flamenco to modern percussive finger-style. Aerial Amy (Maui) soars high on lyra, silks, trapeze and many other cirque disciplines. Her dance-of-flight is the visual melody manifest. Sweet little lullabies become epic virtuoso improvisations, like raindrops transform into the heaviest funk grooves.
