Solstice at St. Teresa of Avila Church
Please join Solstice for an evening of a cappella music at the lovely St. Teresa of Avila Church on Potrero Hill. This 7-woman ensemble has been wowing Bay Area audiences since 1996 with their technically precise and passionate treatment of an eclectic array of music for women's voices.
St. Teresa of Avila Church is a beautiful and sonorous venue for a cappella music, and one which has rarely been available for public concerts. Solstice has carefully selected a repertoire for this concert which highlights the unique and lush acoustic of this gorgeous space.
Please join Solstice in celebrating the music of Palestrina, Debussy, Stravinsky, and Bartok as well as folk and spiritual melodies from around the world and our American traditions.
