Another solid entry in Frances long history of intelligent romantic comedies for grown-ups, Could This Be Love? tracks genial business tycoon Lucas (Vincent Lindon, The Moustache, My Little Business), a streetwise single whos made a fortune in the tech industry. When he encounters sharp-tongued mosaic artist Elsa (Sandrine Bonnaire, East-West, Monsieur Hire, Vagabond), hes smitten but cautious, having been burned by dishonest lovers in the past. Lucas enlists his faithful head of security (Francois Berleand, My Idol, My Little Business) to give his intended a thorough vetting, leading to an ever-twisting farce as two strong-willed, passionate people from different worlds wind their way toward a relationship that may be doomed before it even begins.
