DECEMBER AVENUE is a 5-piece indie rock/pop rock band from Manila, Philippines known for their light and soft rock compositions. The band is composed of Zel Bautista on vocals and guitars, Jem Manuel on guitars, Don Gregorio on bass, Jet Danao on drums and backing vocals, and Gelo Cruz on keyboards and backing vocals. Started out in Manila's indie music scene in 2007, the band finally started breaking thru the mainstream in 2017 with their single, "Kahit Di Mo Alam", followed by "Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig" and "Bulong". Their biggest hit to date is "Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw", a collaboration with Moira Dela Torre.
Last January, it won the 'Wishclusive Collaboration of the Year' award at the 4th Wish 107.5 Music Awards; and just recently as 'Collaboration of the Year' award at the 2019 MYX Music Awards.
Their current single, "Huling Sandali", is the theme song of the movie, "Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon".
Despite the pandemic lockdown of 2020 to 2022, the band managed to stay active by doing virtual shows and just recently, the have set a record-breaking appearance at the Dubai EXPO 2020 in March 2022.
Having successfully toured the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Dubai since the year 2019, the December Avenue, 6-city tour, is a celebration of the band's 15 years of existence. The tour is happening in May 2024.
