Flichterin' Duo at Acoustic Music Centre / AMC @ UCC
This harp and viola duo - unusual within Scottish traditional music - has toured Scotland as part of their larger ensemble and is now bringing their more intimate sound to the fringe. Arianna Ranieri's classical viola training and Sam MacAdam's traditional harp training combine bringing elements of both together in Sam and Arianna's new compositions and arrangements. Sam pushes the boundaries of what to expect from the harp and her compositions and performances have been played on BBC Radio 3, BBC Scotland and more. Arinana's viola brings a darker sound to Scottish folk music
