A story about a young Hungarian boy and his fatal acquaintance with a Russian soldier during the 1956 Revolution in Budapest, which leads to an unusual trip down memory lane.

Donald is going to travel into the future and murder himself. Hes an average man, perhaps a little weaker in will and more active in imagination than most. But before his time machine can take him into the 4th dimension, hes confronted by his future selves and then coerced to travel into his past to visit his estranged wife one last time. This is a dark comedy that questions the possibility or impossibility of change within a person.

An elderly man grieving at the recent loss of his wife returns to his former University in search of a time capsule buried in the grounds 50 years earlier. However, the beautiful Ginkgo trees are the only things remaining as he is forced to confront the gulf between the memories he has been living on and the reality of modern change.

A reclusive and emotionally tortured man learns to come to terms with his traumatic past and the feelings of guilt he has over his fathers death as he finds compassion for a troubled young woman struggling with her own demons.
Power Lunch (8 Minutes, Canada)
While a Mariachi band plays a plaintive melody, two grey-suited men, one Canadian, the other American, talk big business over enchiladas and margaritas in a sweltering hot Mexican restaurant. When it comes time to pay the bill, they politely bicker over who'll pick up the tab. Neither man backs down, and the conflict escalates until they end up beating the living crap out of each other and destroying the restaurant in a take-no-prisoners fight over the check. A subtle, yet biting metaphor for the hypocrisy of international politics, (particularly NAFTA), Power Lunch serves up 8 spicy minutes of tasty action and laughs, with a pungent and lingering aftertaste.
