This is a delightful comedy about falling in love with a little white lie. What do you do when your Jewish parents wont approve of your non-Jewish boyfriend? Lie to them and hire an actor to impersonate a handsome Jewish doctor, of course! Jewish girl invents a boyfriend and takes him home for Shabbat dinner. He learned everything he knows about Judaism from Fiddler on the Roof. The film stars Lainie Kazan as the Jewish mother, Robyn Cohen as the daughter and Seymour Cassel as her father.
