SCF 2024: Angie Louise and Art Anderson, Saturday May 25 @ 9 PM
Welcome to Seattle Cabaret Festival 2024!

SATURDAY MAY 25 at 9:00 PM

SEATTLE CABARET FESTIVAL PRESENTS:
ANGIE LOUISE in "NIGHTTIME IS THE RIGHT TIME"

Ditch those daylight inhibitions and join singer-songwriter Angie Louise for songs about nocturnal longings, the lure of the moon, good ideas, bad ideas, and journeys into the unknown. A shimmering, intoxicating brew of Angie's most moonlit tunes, with a little Tom Waits and David Lynch on the side. With Love Markets bandmate Dave Pascal on the smoky bass!

ABOUT ANGIE LOUISE

Writer-performer Angie Louise is a member of Actors' Equity with a long list of principal roles on Seattle stages; a past winner of the Academy of American Poets Prize; screenwriter, actor, and songwriter for two award-winning feature films; and the longtime frontwoman and songwriter for Weimar Berlin-inspired rock band The Love Markets. Record releases with The Love Markets include BEAUTY FACTORY and WORLD OF YOUR DREAMS ("Irresistible... Intoxicating" - Seattle Magazine); the band's third release, SHIP OF LIGHT, is due out in fall 2024. "A singer, actress and songwriter with fearsome chops." - City Arts Magazine.

SEATTLE CABARET FESTIVAL PRESENTS:
ART ANDERSON in "CROONER: ART ANDERSON - SIMPATICO"

Join Art for an evening of smooth jazz vocals, further defining the "crooner" sound and style with some Latin sway and a few showtunes to boot, all to arrive at the desired goal of Simpatico.

ABOUT ART ANDERSON

Art is very happy to be able to bring his ''crooner" sensibility back to this year's Seattle Cabaret Festival after last year's first exhilarating plunge into the 'Cabaret' experience. Art is a member of Actors' Equity, having performed in many musicals and plays throughout Seattle and regionally over thirty years of calling Seattle home.

Showtime: 9:00 PM. Doors open at 8:30.

See you at Egan's!

*Egan's requests a $10 minimum purchase per patron (food or drink).
