Robert Ray's Gospel Mass and Songs of Americana
Spring director Jon Stafford has planned a program that includes
Robert Rays Gospel Mass, rounded out by an assortment of Americana.
Stafford has said that the spirited Gospel Mass is one of his
all-time favorites. The composer, Ray, wrote it in 1981. It was
intended for a one-time performance but has grown in popularity
over the last several decades.
