I AM
Come and join us as we explore music for the self: choral works that touch on the fundamental cry of human experience: I AM. So much of our world is beset by calls for recognition, for remembrance, for identity, for justice, for struggles to be heard for who we are as individuals amidst the clamour of everyday life. We have multiple roles in our own lives and those of others. This multi-layering of our selves and how we move and interact with others is the basis for our existence within our communities, and in our private lives. And at the centre of it all is our own self. Music by Beatch, Pärt, Runestad, Saindon, Dett, Ernesaks, Balfour, Ramsey, and Guillaume.
