Band Bios:
whysowhite - a six-piece Chicago band whose funk-love music is a performance art piece in itself. With multiple forms of percussion a constant presence, the personalities are what makes the band so appealing their love for music and each other shines on stage.
Sidewalk Chalk - known for creating a live show that captivates a variety of audiences, sharing the stage with acts like Questlove and De La Soul. With the release of sophomore album Leaves, the band continues to lead the contemporary evolution of hip-hop, soul and jazz.
Oceans Over Airplanes - a NW Indiana trio with heavy alt-rock/grunge influences. Their music is an integrated mix reminiscent of Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday and their own unique sound. OOA's newest EP "Revival Songs" was released Nov. 2013 under Stayposi Records.
Common Shiner - In early 2013, the man-boys of Common Shiner released their ridculously catchy album Before They Sold Out: Part 2, establishing them as a pop powerhouse involving organs, hard-hitting drums, rock-infused piano, thick bass lines and driving electric guitar.
