The Metropolitan Greek Chorale - The Joy and Sorrow of the Holy Mother
The Metropolitan Greek Chorale under the direction of Marina Alexander with accompanist Yannis Xylas on Saturday May 10, 2014 at 8 P.M. at The Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation at 91st Street and West End Avenue in New York.
The concert features excerpts from the Stabat Mater of Josef Rheinberger, plus music by Ivan Moody, Jonas Tamulionis and Giaochino Rossini, plus Byzantine chant.
