Anatomy in Focus- The Knee
This workshop focuses on the muscles responsible for moving the knee joint, how they tend to malfunction, and how to correctly utilize good mechanics to support the knee joint throughout a long, active life.
Participants will use the innovative ANATOMY IN CLAY Learning System to build the muscles of the knee from colored clay applied to a realistic model skeleton. The workshop also includes a movement session using exercises and stretches that focus on the muscles being built!
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND? This workshop is a rare opportunity for engaging, hands-on exploration of an important substructure of the human body. Study of anatomy can advance understanding and appreciation of physical therapy, movement therapy, general healthcare, yoga, Pilates, dance, and sports. Admission is open to everyone with a passion for learning, whether you are a professionals or have never formally studied anatomy.
