Rock the Mill Music Festival is an annual fundraiser for Newlin Grist Mill, a private non-profit historic site and environmental center located in western Delaware County. The organization maintains 12 historic buildings and 160-acres of open space with 8 miles of hiking trails. The site is a community resource used for education and recreational purposes. Proceeds support preservation and restoration projects on the site.

John & June Gallagher (1:00 pm) John & June have been performing as a duo for over 35 years, doing Irish, American folk, and childrens' music at concerts, festivals, campgrounds and concert venues in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Blooming Act (2:00 pm) Blooming Act plays original acoustic folk tunes with a completely new energy and dynamic. Their debut EP Vancouver features foot-stomping ballads, dust bowl anthems, and farel love songs. Learn more at www.bloomingact.com
Boulevard Express (3:00 pm) Boulevard Express is best known for the traditional bluegrass music they play and their three-part harmonies. They are heavily influenced by traditional bluegrass of the past as well as contemporary bluegrass of today. Learn more at boulevardexpress.net.
Seven Rings(4:00 pm) Seven Rings fills in the niche for an Irish band with a heavy dose of classic rock influence along with a little country and bluegrass thrown in for good measure. Learn more at sevenringsband.com.

Whirled Peas (6:00 pm) Together for almost 15 years, Whirled Peas performs classic American Roots music that incorporates folk, blues, bluegrass, country and other genres. They also perform original music. Learn more at whirledpeasband.com.

Parking Parking is free for the event. The entrance to parking is up Cheyney Road from main Visitor Center entrance. We encourage carpooling! Food & beverages There are no coolers allowed, but food, beer, and other beverages will be available for purchase. Families & pets This is a family-friendly event! Families are encouraged to attend, and dogs are allowed as long as they are on leashes throughout the event. Kids 12 and under are free. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets. There will be areas of both shade and sun, so sunscreen is recommended and pavilions/umbrellas are not.
