Our highest-level pass, the VIP Pass grants unparalleled access to the festival. If you want a fest experience that includes all-the-films-you-can-watch and the ability to go to VIP Events, the Awards Show & Reception, and After-Parties, look no further.

After you complete your purchase you will be directed to our individual ticket reservation page, where you can select all your films for the fest! **Only 1 ticket, per screening, per pass. Passes and reserved tickets for films and events will be available for pickup ONLY at the Cinemark Palace on the Country Club Plaza during regular Box Office Hours starting Tuesday April 8th at 2pm.
After Monday April 7th, VIP Passes will only be available in person ONLY at the Cinemark Palace on the Country Club Plaza Box Office
**All screenings and events, including the Awards Show/Reception, require a reserved ticket. Single Award Show & Reception Ticket sales will go on-sale when the Festival Box Office opens on April 8th. Additionally, A VIP, Gold or Silver Pass is required for entry to the Heartland Reception and all After-Parties
We are excited to announce that the festival has expanded! We will now show films in two venues in the heart of Kansas City.
- Cinemark Palace on the Plaza located at 526 Nichols Rd, Kansas City, MO 64112
- Alamo Drafthouse on Mainstreet at 1400 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64105
All venue information will be listed on the schedule and on all film tickets. Be sure to check either source for correct venue location before each screening.
Kansas City FilmFest Membership is included with the VIP Pass and Gold Pass. Throughout the year, Kansas City FilmFest Pass Holders receive invitations to special event screenings with filmmakers in attendance or discount and free tickets to Kansas City FilmFest events/screenings. Memberships purchased now will expired at the end of 2014.

All Festival Pass Holders will be given a badge the first day they attend the festival. All pass holders MUST have their I.D. with them to obtain the VIP Pass Badge. Badges can be picked up at Cinemark Palace on the Plaza. VIP Festival Passes are for one person and include: Unlimited movies, seminars, workshops, panels, parties. They include Heartland Reception, Tasting with Screening Events, VIP Guest Reception, and Awards Show & Gala. Restrictions Apply. VIP Festival Pass does not include the Wadjda Benefit Screening. VIP Festival Pass holders must obtain tickets from the Box Office in advance of each screening they wish to attend. A VIP Festival Pass does not guarantee seating. VIP Festival Pass does not guarantee a ticket in the event a film or seminar sells out and/or VIP Pass Holder is not seated at least 10 minutes before the film/event is scheduled to begin. VIP Festival Pass Holders must be in their seat by 10 minutes before show time: at that time any unoccupied seats will be released for sale. VIP Festival Pass Holders may pick up tickets ahead of time for multiple shows when time allows, per box office discretion. VIP Festival Pass Holders must show I.D. with their badge and ticket for admittance to all screenings and events.
