The always charming Constance Talmadge stars in Lessons in Love, a fast-paced farce about an heiress who pretends to be the family maid in order to determine the true intentions of a potential suitor Wealthy Leila Calthorpe (Constance Talmadge) is losing her fortune fast and her carefree lifestyle doesn't help matters. Her grandfather and uncle try to persuade her to marry into money and even provide the man (Kenneth Harlan) and the fortune. Because Leila wants her marriage based on true love, she decides to test her suitor by pretending to be the maid and telling him that her old aunt (Flora Finch) is actually Miss Calthorpe. He is less than excited, but quickly falls for the "maid."
