Livin' Out Loud (The Kiki Ball)
Garden of Peace Project, Glsen Pittsburgh, True T Entertainment, and Willie Gee's presents Livin' Out Loud The KIKI BALL!
Livin' Out Loud will be on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Andy Warhol Museum. Through community partners, we will have STD testing, HIV testing, and professionals teaching individuals how to advocate for themselves. Celebrity judge, Aisha Diori (Glitteratie Diori), founder of the Kiki Ballroom scene (youth-led, adult-supported houses), will come to Pittsburgh to inspire the attendees to be themselves and live their lives out loud, despite consistently being silenced. And, celebrity judge, Ciani Revlon (Feminin D Whyte-Peterson) will be in the building. Willie Gee's founder and designer, Malcolm Infiniti Anthony Williams, will host a fashion show, with diverse models (inspiring attendees that who they are, short, plus-size, gender non-conforming, over 30, etc., is beautiful), and a Kiki Ball, presented by True T Entertainment.
