Songs to Live By
Join us for a concert of songs that remind us of our better selves, bring us together, and speak to the heart with hope, balance, strength, innocence, and maturity. These are songs we can heed and pondersongs to live by.
Pulling from folk, classical, and avant-garde traditions, we will present favorites like Violeta Parra's Gracias a la Vida, Shaker classic Simple Gifts, Copland's At the River, Barber's To Be Sung on the Water, and Vaughn William's and Karl Korte's settings of Blake's Songs of Innocence.
