Bodies Are People Too / Alas
In "Bodies Are People Too", Tess Dworman collaborates with members of her family to assemble candid sound, movement, and conversation into a performance that is about performing. LinkUp Residency Artist Carole McCurdys Alas is a performance collage incorporating physical theater, dance, vocal harmonies and horrors, striptease, breast self-exam, and nine perfect bodies, playing with the ways we experience our anatomies. The evening will include a special guest performance by vocalist and songwriter Elisabeth Blair.
