Doreen Taylor- "Colors of the USA" Release Party
After receiving an overwhelming response from her National 2013/2014 "MAGIC" Tour and selling out dozens of shows across America including Los Angeles, New York City and Philadelphia, award-winning singer/songwriter, Doreen Taylor (www.doreentaylormusic.com) has been honorably chosen to collaborate with the nation's leading park advocacy organization, the nonprofit National Parks Conservation Association (www.npca.org), on an anthem for the United States to help advance the NPCA's mission to protect our National Parks and in turn honor the National Parks 100th Anniversary.

Come celebrate with DOREEN TAYLOR at the official EAST COAST release party for the new single "COLORS OF THE USA" to be held at MILKBOY PHILADELPHIA (1100 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19107 www.milkboyphilly.com) TUESDAY, APRIL 22ND from 7:30pm-9:30pm EST.

Tickets include entrance to this one night only star studded event, complementary hors d'oeuvres, meet and greet and photo op with Doreen Taylor, an autographed limited edition copy of "Colors of the USA" and the exclusive premiere performance of the new song for the public.

Dubbed by the Huffington Post as "an excellent performing artist to keep your eyes on," Taylor's collaboration with NPCA is an extra special honor because it supports an organization near and dear to her heart that is committed to protecting and enhancing our national parks. Written, performed and produced by Taylor herself, creating the new single, "Colors of the USA" is a true testament to her commitment to this cause and showcases Doreen's talents as not only a vocalist, but as a songwriter and musician. Taylor has been known in the music industry as a "force to be reckoned with" for the raw, emotional vibe of her lyrics, stunning vocals and multiple abilities to engage an audience.

ABOUT DOREEN TAYLOR

Doreen's homegrown grassroots upbringing gave way to a sudden and remarkable career at an early age when her town, family, congregation and most importantly Doreen herself, realized the true power and strength of her voice. While some singers feel performing since childhood has burned them out or shown them the wrong side of the industry, she believes her young start has only made her stronger as a vocalist, songwriter and performer. With viral YouTube hits such as "Judgment Day", "Last Call (for alcohol)", "Heartbeat" and "Summertime" off her breakout, debut country/rock solo album "Magic," Doreen's has been called one of the hottest up and coming musical stars by countless publications and television like CMT, the Lifetime Network, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW Network, etc. With a Masters in Opera Performance, Taylor has played numerous leading roles in various companies on and off Broadway and released three albums before taking the jump into country/rock music and wrote all the songs on the album "Magic" which garnered her the "2012 Suggested Artist of the Year" Award from the 'Song of the Year' international songwriting competition. Doreen's music videos, "Last call (for Alcohol)," "Heartbeat" and "Summertime" landed on the 'Top 100 Country Official Music Videos of the Week' chart at the same time! A proud supporter of numerous local and national charities, Doreen is committed to making a positive change in various communities and across the nation.

ABOUT THE NATIONAL PARKS CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION

The National Parks Conservation Association's mission is to protect and enhance America's National Park System for present and future generations. NPCA is an independent, nonpartisan voice working to address major threats facing the National Park System. NPCA was established in 1919, just three years after the National Park Service. Stephen Mather, the first director of the Park Service, was one of their founders and felt strongly that the national parks would need an independent voice outside the political system to ensure these places remained unimpaired for future generations. Now, nearly one hundred years later, NPCA has more than 800,000 members and supporters. In addition to their LEED-certified national headquarters in Washington, D.C., NPCA has 24 regional and field offices around the country.
