BANANA PLAYS CHERRY HILL BED AND BREAKFAST INN SATURDAY NIGHT APRIL 5
Lowell Levinger -Banana from The Youngbloods, accompanied by Sam Page on acoustic bass, will begin our spring/summer house concert series at Cherry Hill Bed and Breakfast Inn , on Saturday evening, April 5. with an indoor 2 set show beginning at 7:30.
Lowell sings Americana songs from Youngbloods favorites to country blues to old R&B classics that swing while they tell stories, and he will be playing his fabulous "Modele Banana" 5 String Tenor Guitar made in Genova, Italy by Corrado Giacomel, tuned in fifths with a unique style and sound. Lowell will be playing songs from his freshly minted album, "Down to the Roots", where he is accompanied by old friends Ry Cooder, David Grisman, Barry Melton, and many other stellar performers.
This will be a pot luck, so please bring whatever you might like to eat and BYOB, (or not).
Food, drink, and schmooze at 6:45...Music at 7:30.
Contribution: $20. There is limited seating indoors, so please make your reservation with credit card payment early.
