Since it was founded in 2009, Ritornello Chamber Music Festival has presented eleven annual festivals and many satellite events, with more than 40 concerts featuring everything from masterworks to new commissions. Artistic Directors Carissa Klopoushak and Jacqueline Woods have dedicated themselves to out-of-the-box chamber music programming that embraces cross-genre collaboration and unique performance settings. Featured artists have included: Lara St. John, Gryphon Trio, Cecilia Quartet, Philip Chiu, Jon Kimura Parker, Ironwood Quartet, Cris Derksen, Mark Fewer, Duane Andrews, Kevin Wesaquate, and many more.

Canadas newest music festival Perspective Festival, proudly hosted in its inaugural year by the University of Regina from May 26-28th, 2023, celebrates Western art music with a special focus on the point-of-view of the performing artists. This years theme is Baroque: Beyond HIP. Historically Informed Performance (HIP) is but one lens through which we may look at the music of the Baroque era - one perspective. The artists on this years roster are interested in HIP as a jumping-off place for their varied performances and presentations.
