UNSOUND: Sean Meehan & Ben Manley / Håkon Stene / Hubert Zemler
Unsound Festival NY continues at ISSUE with an afternoon of unshrinking percussion music featuring Sean Meehan and Ben Manley, Håkon Stene, and Hubert Zemler. Americans Sean Meehan and Ben Manely, both veterans of the New York scene since the '80s, improvise duo. The diversely talented Polish percussionist Hubert Zemler performs a solo set crossing new music, world music and improvisation. Norway's Håkon Stene plays a short work by Lars Petter Hagen as well as Michael Pisaro's Ricefall.
