They fronted some of the greatest bands history has ever known, yet little is truly known about the women who sang with big bands. In honor of Women's History Month, revel in an evening of swinging music and anecdotes as rising jazz vocalist (and budding historian) Amanda King shares the life, times, and music of (Bay Area native) Ivie Anderson and other women who sang with big bands in the heyday of the Swing Era.
