TTTF Milwaukee Oyster Roast // 2014
The Milwaukee Oyster Roast will be one the more unique events you'll attend this year. Popular in the "low country," oyster roasts generally involve copious amounts of freshly-steamed oysters and plenty of beer, wine, music and fun! It's so simple...we can't imagine why it took so long to get up to Milwaukee!
The evening features all-you-can-eat, steamed South Carolina oysters alongside a mouthwatering mix of creole and low-country comfort foods. This year we're shipping 50 bushels of "cluster" oysters up from Bowens Island, South Carolina, home of one of the most renowned oyster shacks in the U.S. Our master shuckers steam the oysters right in front of you so you get 'em HOT and you get 'em FAST! Guaranteed! These will be the best oysters you stomach in 2014!
Attendees can also enjoy raw oysters served up by Milwaukee's own Maxie's Southern Comfort and food and beverage samples from local vendors. Attendees can help the cause by bidding on the silent auction, raffle and more! Dress is casual. Stick around for live music, drinks and dancing!
The Line Up:
Spoiled Rotten brings a new and fresh mix of modern music in a high energy stage show. Specializing in 90's and contemporary pop music, Spoiled Rotten guarantees a lively music experience.
ZyFy is an original acoustic rock band performing original music along side original twists to covers. Each show Zyfy ends their set with an emotional performance of "This Time Tomorrow", the theme song to This Time Tomorrow Foundation.
The Stangs, a mellow husband and wife acoustic duo, will provide our opening entertainment. Best paired with a Zin or a Horny Blonde Lager...and oysters, of course!
