Girls Rock! Seattle - Girls Rock! Exclusive Movie Screening

On March 20th, 2009 Girls Rock! Seattle will host a an exclusive screening of Girls Rock! The Movie at Northwest Film Forum. Proceeds from this event will go to support GR!S programming.

This documentary follows girls at camp as they are taught that it's OK to sweat like a pig, scream like a banshee, wail on their instruments with complete and utter abandon, and that it is "100% okay to be exactly who you are."

* Please note that all ticket levels are inclusive and all proceeds from this event go to support Girls Rock! Seattle in its first year.

GR!S intends to bring camp to Seattle in the Summer of 2009. Our mission is to build positive self-esteem in girls, and encourage creative expression through music. Our music education programs will provide girls with an environment that fosters leadership, encourages social change, and cultivates a supportive community of female peers and mentors.
