IT'S A 3-VOLUTION!
CHORAL CHAMELEON explores the progression of THREE:
How do we get from here to there, from A to B... to C? A three-point turn?
What goal, message, theme unites three parts of a whole?
Composers across centuries, cultures and genres have used the three-song form to ask (and maybe answer) these questions and more.
Join us as we round out our inaugural season with a Choral Chameleon perspective on magic number 3!
With works by Impressionists (Debussy and Ravel), early music (Dowland, Morley, Palestrina), contemporary e.e. cummings settings and Hebrew song, and the Beatles.
