Bucks County Symphony 2009 Spring Concert
The 2009 Spring Concert will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Central Bucks East High School and will feature piano solist Hong Xu. The New York Times has commented that Mr. Xu is a Âtechnically brilliant, insightful musician of seemingly limitless potential. Mr. Xu is Laureate of CanadaÂs Honens International Piano Competition (2006), winner of the Mozart Prize at the Cleveland (2005), and Second Prize winner of the Hilton Head (2004) International Piano Competitions. Performances will include Sergei RachmaninoffÂs Piano Concerto No. 3, Joseph-Maurice RavelÂs Le Tombeau de Couperin and Richard Rodgers Slaughter on Tenth Avenue.
