Sister and Brother, Gemma and Harley are abandoned by their mother's boyfriend on a dirt road. The lost kids head into the woods to find help. After a night and day of searching, they stumble upon a witchy path adorned with gnomes and knickknacks welcoming them toward a magical house full of good food, soft sheets and danger. Once embroiled in danger, will they be able to escape? Will they ever be reunited with their mother? If they are, will life continue for them as it was before? All they have is each other. The Brothers Grimm fairy tale Hansel and Gretel takes a modern neorealist twist in H&G.
