Hard times demand tunes that will get us through, and Ed has crafted several worthy ditties on his debut solo EP Low-Fi Goodness. No real surprise given the level of songwriting he's exhibited in Backyard Tire Fire (currently on hiatus) and with new project Magic Box, who just released their debut EP last year. Ed dishes up music that sticks to one's ribs, meaty stuff to power us for the long haul, and after one spin of his first official solo release, you'll find he's still cookin' 'em up like a pro.
