Echotape, Ballerina Black & The Slow Readers Club
We are very proud and honoured to bring you the first band we've put on from the USA, in the wonderful Ballerina Black!

Ballerina Black is the moniker for the music of Bobby Moynahan supported by co-founding bassist Esli Sugich, Scott Eton on keys & guitar and Romeo Mendoza on drums. With a sound described as a collage of Mope-Rock and Grave Wave, Moynahan maneuvers accessible melodies with 3 dimensional lyrics, tittering on eulogies. "Metaphors are the eloquent liquid the can fill, drown, or quench whatever cracks or pores the listener has without relegating them to something confining,.. be it joys or horrors,..", explains Moynahan.

The first full length 'Cattle Arithmetic' was released in 2010. Soon after, the band opened up for the likes of Silversun Pickups and Interpol at LA Greek Theater. Ballerina Black embellished on their sound, marked with expansive synths and experimental guitar effects, releasing the first in a series of EPs in late 2012 under the division titled Injureless.

Whatever this collective of Grungy-New Wave, Grave-Gazers does next, be sure to take note, as they're fast becoming blogspot favourites.

With them we are delighted to welcome The Slow Readers Club.
The Slow Readers Club are a Manchester based Indie / Electro band who's output ranges from insanely catchy upbeat indie to angry, introspective downbeat ballads. Their music has drawn
comparisons with Interpol, The Killers and Arcade Fire.

Headlining the night we are thrilled to welcome back Echotape!

Echotape are a five-piece from a small town in Southern England. Their debut album 'Collective' was recorded with Killing Joke bassist Youth and was released in April 2013. They have played at The Great Escape festival, been a part of installations at the Tate Modern and Tate Britain and impressed Seymour Stein at the 2012 MUSEXPO conference in Hollywood.

With both a Goodsoul and a special guest DJ set, this will be a brilliant night of music that you really need to come along to!
