Event
Water Heroes On Tour - Know H2O
Students in the environmental club at New Hope-Solebury high school and the Jonathan D. Krist foundation are sponsoring this event to raise awareness about water. It is also a benefit for PlayPumps International, an organization that builds wells in Africa. The music and multi-media event will feature clips from the documentaries, FLOW and Liquid Assets, as well as the Delaware Riverkeeper NetworkÂs film, Remember the River.
Next to air, water is our most valuable resource. And that is why firefighters from the Eagle Fire Company in New Hope, PA, have joined the Water Heroes on Tour. They will do their part, along with several other heroes, to protect water. How? They are breaking the bottled water habit. We depend on our volunteer fire department for our safety. Firefighters depend on water to fight fires. Learn about the water where we live. The infrastructure we depend on for public health and safety is largely out of sight. We canÂt neglect our buried assets or our watershed. Join us on March 15th and learn why.
