Meet WWE Hall of Famer, Madusa FKA Alundra Blayze, at Music City Toys!
The words legend and trailblazer get thrown around a lot these days but both of those words describe Madusa perfectly. Don't miss your opportunity to meet one of the most influential and groundbreaking women in pro wrestling history in a RARE southern area appearance on Saturday August 5 at Music City Toys & Collectibles!

Madusa Miceli broke into the wrestling business in 1984 trained by Minnesota legend, Eddie Sharkey. She was the first woman voted PWI's Rookie of the Year and quickly became the AWA Women's Champion feuding with the likes of "Sensational" Sheri Martel and Wendi Richter. She also worked as a valet alongside Diamond Dallas Page and his Diamond Exchange stable. From there she went to Japan to compete in All-Japan's Women's promotion and captured the IWA Women's World Championship twice. As the decade of the 90s began she found herself in WCW as part of Paul E. Dangerously's Dangerous Alliance working as a valet for "Ravishing" Rick Rude and "Stunning" Steve Austin among others. She joined the WWF in 1993 as Alundra Blayze. The company reinstated the Women's Championship and Blayze quickly won the title. She held the title on 3 occasions over the next 2 years feuding with Bull Nakano and Bertha Faye. Amid budget cuts by the WWF, Blayze was released from her contract and returned to WCW as Madusa in late 1995. On the December 18 edition of WCW Monday Nitro on TNT, Madusa was involved in one of the most memorable moments in the "Monday Night War" between the WWF and WCW when she threw the WWF Women's Championship title into a trash can live on the air. Many consider this to be one of the early "shots" fired in the inter promotional battle that led to pro wrestling's height of popularity throughout the 1990s. Madusa remained with WCW until just before the company was purchased by the WWF in 2001. She feuded with Akira Hokuto for the newly established WCW Women's Championship. Although she was unsuccessful at winning that title she did defeat Evan Karagias to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship becoming the first woman to hold the title. She also partnered with "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Gorgeous George and Miss Madness (Molly Holly) to form the Team Madness faction during the latter stages of WCW.

Retiring from the ring in 2001, she began a career in monster truck racing. She had first entered the monster truck business under Dennis Anderson of Grave Digger fame in 1999. Madusa won the 2004 co-championship at the Monster Jam World Finals for freestyle in the first-ever three-way tie. In March 2005 in Las Vegas, she beat her trainer, Dennis Anderson, in the final bracket of the Monster Jam World Finals for the Racing Championship, thus making her the first woman to win the Monster Jam World Finals Racing Championship.

After 20 years away from WWE, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015. Since that time she has made sporadic appearances in wrestling presenting the AEW Women's Tag Team Championship Cup to the winners of that tournament in 2020 and working as a backstage producer for Billy Corgan's NWA. She even held the WWE 24/7 Championship for a short time. She last appeared for WWE on the 30th Anniversary Special for Monday Night RAW on January 23, 2023.

Don't miss your opportunity to meet the 6-Time Women's World Champion and 2-Time Monster Jam Champion Saturday August 5 from Noon-2pm at Music City Toys & Collectibles!
