Br'er Rabbit Presents: THE WILD NORTH Album Release Party!
Northwest folk-stomp Americana band Br'er Rabbit spent the entirety of 2013 planning, writing and fundraising through Kickstarter for their first full-length studio album, The Wild North. In January, they spent 25 days recording and mixing at the famed Bear Creek Studio in Woodinville, WA with engineer Jerry Streeter (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Fleet Foxes). The original founding members, their new addition of Jillian Walker on cello, and several of the musicians that lent their talents to the album (John Rentschler on violin, Drew Shreve on drums, Stephen Straub on bass, and Xitlalic Hernandez on piano) cordially invite you to join them in celebration of the final product: an 11-song LP, mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound in NYC (Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Bon Iver, Sara Bareilles).
Opening the evening will be local dream-folk trio The Sky Colony.
