If there's one man working in the field of electronic music who's consistently guaranteed to be at the forefront of what's most exciting whether as an artist, label boss, producer or beyond it's Adam F.
As co-founder/ MD of Breakbeat Kaos Adam was right there at the start, signing and developing Pendulum, Nero and Chase & Status and as an artist is right now once again making serious waves remixing the likes of David Guetta & Rihanna, Missy Elliott and Afrojack.
Adam F is an English MOBO award winning producer/label owner who's had over 8 top 40 U.K hits to date earning 8 Gold and 5 Platinum BPI discs as an artist/Label owner.
He signed to EMI in the U.K. and his debut album "Colours" featured the top 20 hits "Circles" and "Music in My Mind." Colours won a MOBO award in the U.K. as best album. After an 18-month tour with a live band, hitting up festivals from Glastonbury to Japan , Adam proceeded to further trek the globe as a headline DJ.
Adam paved the way for multi-genre producers by becoming one of the few U.K producers to break the USA with a co-write on LL Cool J's seminal rap classic NO:1 US Billboard Album "The G.O.A.T.". Adam then started working with the likes of Missy Elliott and David Bowie and then began focusing on his own career spending 18 months recording his album, KAOS, which includes the anthem & Top 5 hit "Smash Sumthin'," featuring Redman.
2009 saw Adam back in the studio, this time with Horx to remix The Prodigy's "Take me to the Hospital" from their 1.3 million selling album "Invaders Must Die". Months later, Adam collaborated with Horx again to release the club smash "Shut the lights off" with Redman.
Adam F and DJ Fresh's collaboration single under the artist name W.T.F was next out the blocks, built around the classic Dead Prez "Bigger than Hip Hop" smash and becoming a hottest record in the world on his radio show and a must play festival anthem for the pivotal DJ Zane Lowe amongst others.
Returning to the studio in earnest during 2012, Adam's 'In The Air' collaboration with fresh talent Sonic C exploded for those DJs lucky enough to have been passed it in person by Adam. With key upfront support from Annie Mac, Mistajam, Zinc, A-Trak and Zeds Dead amongst others, this slice of 128 bpm fire was then made available as a free download prompting an enthusiastic broader response. It set the scene for "When The Rain Is Gone", Adam's first official single release under his own name for some time. The single was heavily supported at Radio 1 and received over 3 million views on official Youtube videos alone.
Adam's 'Elements' EP was out next and included his tracks 'Elements' and his remixes of Sander Van Doorn's 'nothing Inside', and Afrojack's 'Take Over Control' amongst others. Adam finished 2012 off with his collaboration with DJ Fresh and Michael Warren 'See You Again' from Fresh's album 'Nextlevelism', a track which was also heavily supported at Radio.
With Adam's remix of Ministry of Sounds Scrufizzer's 'Rap Rave' released in January and his collaboration with Dr. P and Method Man due out soon on Circus/Atlantic Records as well as more new music on the way, 2013 will no doubt continue to see Adam further cement his position as one of the key players in the industry.

Chart topping, dance floor rocking, and taste making come naturally to Atlanta based DJ and Producer Mayhem. With over 15 years in the studio and the decks, he has garnished the attention of the heavyweights in every genre of his focus. Rooted heavily in Drum & Bass music, and with a discerning ear, Mayhem found himself making big moves from an early age. From releasing records for Andy C, TeeBee, Dieselboy, Noisia, and Black Sun Empire to DJing across the world for massive crowds in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and beyond; he has warranted a reputation for diversity and quality control. Collaborating with artists such as Noisia, Heroes x Villains, FKi, Le Castle Vania, Antiserum, Phace, Evol Intent, Sinthetix, Gein and Gridlok amongst many others, his production soared to new heights with "Exodus (featuring the legendary KRS-1)", "Moonway Renegade", "Choke", and most recently a crossover album for Diplo's Mad Decent Label "Transformers In The Hood". Boundless inspiration pushed Mayhem to pursue Dubstep in it's formidable years, immediately signing with the reputable Subway Records as well as SubHuman and Smog most recently. J. Phlip (pronounced J Flip) known to some as Jessica Phillippe discovered house music in her hometown of Champaign, Illinois, just 2 hours south of Chicago.
Sometime around her 19th birthday she got her first DJ rig - two belt drive turntables and a mixer lacking EQ knobs for $100 bucks! From then on, her poor roomates were forced to listen to a constant dance party in-between her Systems Engineering studies. There aren't a lot of 4.0 braniac engineering majors who decide to become DJs instead of cashing in on their degrees but Jessica truly loves the music and has dedicated her life to it.
Her proximity to Chicagos famous house scene tremendously affected her sound, but the distance afforded her the freedom to incorporate a variety of other influences into her repertoire. Her sets posses a fun, "lets-not-forget-this-is-dance-music," feeling and simultaneously keep you guessing about what might come next. Her collection spans house, tech house, deep house, techno, booty bass and pretty much anything that make you shake your ass.
Jessica's skills on the decks and in the studio have secured her highly desirable spot as an official member of the Dirtybird crew, after signing her first record to them in 2008. She is currently Claude VonStroke's favorite support DJ and has already played at amazing high profile gigs like Fabric, Space Ibiza, Back to Basics, and Watergate. She was also chosen for URB Magazine's Next 100 of 2009 and is currently residing in Berlin (but is often back and forth between there and her previous home of San Francisco). Look out for her upcoming productions on dirtybird, Pets, and Krush Groove. She WILL be making asses shake on the dancefloor and she's just as excited about it as the day she got her belt drives!

Since the conception of the "Lo IQ?" project in 2010, it's been destined for great things. Lo IQ? has an unique style of producing and DJing, which can be best described as big room Breakbeats. In 2010 Lo IQ? came storming out of the gates with original releases and remixes on labels such as DJ Icey's world renown Zone Records and famed UK Label Ground Level Records, which all have reached top tier positions on the top 100 Beatport chart.In early June 2013 Lo IQ? was named #15 on Billboard's Next Big Sound Chart, Reinforcing that Lo IQ?'s sound is headed in the right direction. Recently in July 2013 Lo IQ?'s velocity shows no sign of slowing down and had a big month, first releasing a track on Breakz R Boss "Around The World" which rocketed to #2 on the charts only to be followed by 2 other releases to also reach the top ten that month, one being another original "Gettin' Right To It" on Zone Records.
In these few short years Lo IQ? has toured and performed in cities nationwide like Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Seattle, Boston, Portland, Orlando, St. Louis, Tampa, Houston, Jacksonville, San Francisco, West Palm Beach, and Cave-In-Rock Southern Illinois to name a few. Over the course of the last 15 years Matt Rissi has been at the forefront of the Iowa techno scene, pushing his sound through one off music events, his resident club event series, collaborative artist projects on his own recording label, & most importantly... Through his explosive DJ performances. His mixing capabilities & charismatic mannerisms displayed while freaking a mixer have shuttled, bussed & flown him across the country time & time again to share billings & deck time with some of the biggest DJ's in the world....
One of Iowa's cornerstone techno promoters, producers, deejays & iconic inspirators. For 16 years Matt has been rocking the system both on the road & at home in Iowa. When he takes to the stage there's no denying the fact that he blatantly performs with the sole intent of fueling a passion for groove that he embraces with 100% conviction & dedication. He's had the pleasure of playing alongside some of the biggest techno players on the planet & has held his own while leaving Iowa's mark on the global techno circuit as somewhere that is absolutely NOT to be overlooked. Locally, he's at the forefront of a movement, leading with torch in hand Nationally, he takes to a bigger stage with the means to completely steal any show.
Over the course of his promoting career he's developed his own rendition of a DJ performance that has become unparalleled by his peers. His fierce presence behind a mixer has led to his domination of line ups while devastating the hundreds of dance floors he's met face to face. His malicious attempts to captivate crowds through technical & explosive mixing techniques have granted him the ability to engage even the most timid of audiences. A record collection of nearly 10,000 pieces of vinyl paints a detailed story about where he's been musically since the beginning of his pulsating addiction. Now armed with the capabilities of digital DJ'ing equipment & software he is able to take screaming crowds on a journey that is not limited to boundaries or restrictions. On the fly remixing, splicing, editing & looping allow his performances to possess an expanding capacity of erotic color & you can bet that you're going to experience a unique set built for the moment every time you see him play.
As a producer, his initial debut was released on Chicago's Zuvuya Recordings label with partner & good friend Mustafa Avdic leading to a spotlight on Music Man's 'I Love Techno 2007' compilation mixed by none other than the legendary Dave Clarke. A few years later Dustin Zahn featured his own rework of their 'Them Crocks' stormer on an Enemy Recordings remix EP released digitally as well as on vinyl. His original tracks & remixes have been signed by Klientele & Giant Squid while as the head of his own Solar Cathedral Recordings digital imprint he's put out 19 releases featuring artists from all over the globe. His original tunes have received plays & support from all corners of the world while being hammered in front of some of the most well versed techno aficionados on the floor. While DJ'ing is Matt's strong suit, he plans to accelerate his studio efforts in hopes of releasing more original music over the course of the upcoming years.

The tale of Cypher's love affair with music, and the midwest's subsequent romance with him, is one of the critical veins in the body of dance music for his local scene. He is every dancer's secret discovery; a reluctant night out that unexpectedly turned magic. His success came not behind a major label release, or a world tour, or a radio hit remix: It happened when enough people had the private Cypher experience for themselves in an old dusty warehouse or abandoned skating rink during the wee hours of the morning.
This is evident by the mass of "Cypher Supporters" you will find scattered all over the Midwest. In dance music circles, Cypher's name conjures fond memories of unforgettable gigs at destinations throughout the Midwest. What punctuates Cypher's skills as a DJ is his capacity to not only incorporate diverse genres and styles, but to transcend them by infusing his music with pure emotion. Cypher's talent is matched only by his passion, which has seen him become one of the true Dj's that stay true to the art.
If you ask him, it was a question of right time, right place. Talented yes; opportunistic, definitely -- and just a little bit lucky.
Humble beginnings is what you will find if you dig behind the scenes in the early parts of his career. Starting his own mobile dj service as a freshman in High school in 1989 was the start of this musical journey that brings him to where he is today. It wasnt until he moved to Chicago in the late 90's that he would do dive into the world of electronic music as a performer. Frequenting the Crobar nightclub in downtown Chicago , Scott knew that this was what he was missing. "The energy was unmatched and the people were passionate about the music like nothing I had ever seen before." He took the hard driving club sounds and put his own spin on things when he moved back to St. Louis in 1998.
Known in the late 90's for his hard bangin UK Acid House sets in the underground scene, Scott now pushes the boundaries of the best in progressive techno and house music. His style is limitless with an enormous bound of continuous energy that can't be matched. It's Dance Music, with a lot of different twists. Depending on the situation at hand, his sets range from ethereal feeling house , to dark driving poppy/proggy techno. Nothings ever set or the same when he's on the decks. You might even be surprised at his bag of Downtempo treats from time to time.
Moving into the studio doing his own production, is now what drives Cypher once again to recreate those memorable times from his past. "There would be nothing like seeing another Dj drop one of my original tracks that would drive the dance-floor into a frenzy! This circle of life and music is what it's all about - Evolving as a person as well as a performer." He remains incredibly humble and grateful to be in pursuit of his passion. He is St.Louis' own- Cypher.
