We celebrate Nebraska Wind Symphony founder, Darwin Tony Snyder, who passed away on January 2023. The concert features works from the very first concert of the Nebraska Wind Symphony as well as Psalm 74 by Brooke Pierson (Consortium Premiere); Adoration by Florence Price; Delta Work Song: Spiritual and Dance by William Grant Still; The Cowboys by John Williams and Concerto in D Major: Finale op. 283 by Carl Reinecke performed by 2022 NWS Memorial Scholarship winner Paige Michaud. Guest conductors include former associate director, Dan Kingkade and Jake Senff, band director at Elkhorn South.
