Memorial Day Weekend Charity Event - A Diana Ross Tribute
The Joseph Gabriel Foundation (JGF) Organization presents a charity event and live musical showcase taking place Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Tennis Place of Hastings/Paum Café located at 100 River Street, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
Hosted by CEO Ms. Michelle Gabriel, who along with her sister and VP Gabby Moran co-founded the non-for-profit organization. JGF was formed by the two sisters dedicated to their father Joseph Gabriel, teacher and activist who believed in education, as a solution for people of color to combat racism, poverty and illiteracy in urban communities.
This gathering will highlight the JGFs various programs and community initiatives. There will be special presentations by JGF Board Members. Retired police officers, Arthur Louissaint and Aldamar Moran, from Blue Light Bridge sharing their experience in law enforcement. Gabby Moran, Licensed SW will discuss the various training & workshops available in areas of Mental health. Angela Stevens will be sharing community programs for Seniors.
Our vision is to see our youth, or the next generation of youths restored from
trauma and be able to connect back into their communities, build positive relationships and
strengthen the core foundation of family, says Ms. Gabriel, who has been a Youth advocate and Educator in NYC Public/Charter schools for over 25 years.
The charity event and fundraiser will be a night to remember in celebration of the newly formed JGF. Guests and their parties can look forward to an exciting night with plenty of live music, food, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and an exclusive showcase from Ms. Gabriel herself. The founder of JGF, a longtime musical artist and performer, will sing a melody of hits in tribute to the iconic Diana Ross.
Admission to the event is $35 ($50 VIP) and guests can also anticipate performances by the likes of the Sharif Jazz Trio and DJ Dove as well as special guest speakers from national non for profits.
