JOHN ENGERMAN in "Fancy Pants"
Composer John Engerman puts on his red trousers and takes you on a journey from our collective kundalini to Paris to the French Revolution to office romances and back. Original songs about curious situations, but always with a groove.
ABOUT JOHN ENGERMAN
John has been writing, arranging, music directing and playing for theatrical productions since the mid-70s. As a composer, highlights include RONNIE BWANA - JUNGLE GUIDE, THE BIG BAD WOLF (AND HOW HE GOT THAT WAY), MING THE RUDE (Empty Space Theatre), THE BALLAD OF MARY READE (Bathhouse Theatre), and PRINCE BRAT AND THE WHIPPING BOY (Seattle Children's Theatre). Cabaret shows featuring his arrangements of others' tunes include revues about Nat Cole, Duke Ellington, Rosemary Clooney, The Fabulous Sateens, The Sirens of Swing, and numerous one-woman shows with his wife, the fabulous Jayne Muirhead.

ABOUT ART ANDERSON
Art Anderson has been a big fan of Seattle Cabaret Festival for a long time and is now THRILLED to sing in this cabaret venue in the style and manner in which he feels he was born. Art is a member of Actors' Equity, having performed in many musicals and plays throughout Seattle and regionally.
Showtime: 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00.
