Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas Santa Cruz Concert
Great local favorites at the annual cynosure event, The Valley of the Moon Fiddle Concert, for the first time in Santa Cruz, the dynamic & dazzling duo of Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas will be performing an entire evening of Scottish fiddle & cello music of unrivaled beauty, eloquence & passion. Long regarded as Scotland's premiere fiddle ambassador, as much for his warm personality as his playing, Fraser's concert & recording career spans over 30 years, with a lengthy list of awards & accolades. The sizzlingly-talented young California cellist Hass first met Fraser at his Valley of the Moon Fiddle Camp. The sparks ignited there have served to fire enormously successful international tours & two CDs, one of which won the coveted Scots Trad Music Award as Album of the Year.
