Ian Carey and Ben Stolorow
In their first collaboration, mainstays on the Bay Area jazz scene, trumpeter Ian Carey and pianist Ben Stolorow are celebrating the release of their new CD Duocracy in concert. Unencumbered by involved arrangements, the CD features lovely, well-crafted standards by Gershwin, Rogers and Hart, Jerome Kern, Henry Mancini and others played with unfussy eloquence.
