Roy (Steve Harris of The Practice) and Harold (Gale Harold of Queer as Folk) reconnect after having not spoken for 20 years due to a life altering misunderstanding that caused Roy to disappear. Years later, after the death of his father, Roy, now a professor but clearly still scarred by the experience so many years earlier, must return to the rural Georgia town he grew up in and face his past. Between managing the general store his father left behind and fending off a swooning town beauty, Roy discovers Sammy (the almost unrecognizable E! personality and stylist to the stars, Phillip Bloch), Harold's blind brother, who is a prisoner in his own house. When Roy helps Sammy escape for a day, that simple act leads to a tragic confrontation of the past and the present that no one is left untouched by.
