HIGH-FUNCTIONING FLESH is an Electro-punk act from Los Angeles, USA, in the vein of bands like Portion Control and Cabaret Voltaire, as executed by electronic body mutants Greg Vand and Susan Subtract. Their unique hard beating electronics is heavily infused with body horror and seeks to revive us all from our spectacle-induced coma.
DEATHCHARGE has lurked in the shadows of the Portland underground in one form or another for more than two decades with few releases, little internet presence and no aspirations to conform. This cycle of bleak end time hymns sees them marching beyond mere Discharge violence into a disorienting and absolutely oppressive realm of textured dissonance and spiritual decay. Destined to resonate with disciples of such disparate influences as early Christian Death, Killing Joke, Antisect, and Amebix.
PUERTA NEGRA offer syncopated EBM funk from Portland, OR, showing off a charismatic and brazen style shaped by the last few years of North American body music but with enough craft and songwriting chops to keep things dynamic and swinging. Slapped synth bass burps along through tracks like Future Podrido, offset by snappy high-end snares and given direction by pained and driven punk vocals. Though often simple in their construction, Puerta Negras tracks have punch and personalit.
