African History Month Concert Weekend - February 21st & 22nd
"The Sankofa Chronicles"... by the Sankofa Dance Theater.
This African Opera is a full concert production where dancers, singers, and musicians perform a dramatic work using the rich traditions of the authentic as well as the new world African art form. "The Sankofa Chronicles" is a classic tale of a rebellious youth, time travel, a vibrant dancing village, and a joyous lesson learned. Featured guest artists include: The Love Peace Project, choreography by Jeffery Paige, and Womb Work Artists.
