Jeff Peterson Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Workshop
Jeff Peterson's Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar workshop will focus on slack key tunings, history and fingerstyle guitar for all playing levels with tablature and sheet music provided.
This is a hands-on workshop, bring your acoustic guitar.
The offspring of the last generation of Hawaiian cowboys, Jeff was raised on the ranches where it all began. Topics covered include tunings, slack key phrasing, technique, improvising, accompaniment, and learning traditional Hawaiian songs. Different levels of players can work together with more advanced guitarists playing melodies while beginners play accompaniment.
