Grammy-nominated, 3 time (and current) IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year singer/songwriter Claire Lynch is a true bluegrass Diva and trail-blazer whose soulful songs have been recorded by Patty Loveless, Kathy Mattea and other luminaries. Her own iconic vocal stylings are backed by a stellar band of virtuosic musicians; award-winning bassist/banjo/percussion player Mark Schatz, mandolinist/guitarist Matt Wingate, and young string wizard Bryan McDowell.
The Claire Lynch Band, currently on tour from Nashville to promote Claire's latest hit Dear Sister (#1 on Roots Top 50), delivers fresh, timeless material tender country ballads, hard-driving bluegrass, swing and even some Appalachian clog dancing in a powerful performance that showcases Claire's high and sweet lonesome sound telling compelling musical stories backed by her phenomenal band.
